What we do
The UCWG has established a history of charitable works and donations. Since 1987, the UCWG has donated more than $146,900 to many worthy organizations in and around the Charlotte area by sponsoring fashion shows, cookbook sales, auctions, bingo night and annual toy drives for area foster children. This year's beneficiaries are:
- Loaves & Fishes
- Charlotte Family Housing Agency
- USO/Charlotte Center
- Dove's Nest- Charlotte Rescue Mission and the Men's Shelter of Charlotte
The continued growth of the UCWG is due to the energy and dedication of its members and the recognition and support by the University City Community.
